Our client is one of the leading outpatient ambulatory surgery centers specializing in ophthalmology and interventional pain management. Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive, collaborative environment. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Nurse Manager to lead our clinical team and ensure excellence in patient care.
Position Overview: As the RN Nurse Manager, you will oversee the daily clinical operations of the surgery center, ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality care for our patients. This role involves nursing staff, coordinating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and upholding compliance with all regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and experience in outpatient or ambulatory surgery settings. As a small ASC, this role also includes direct patient care responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage nursing staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
Oversee clinical operations to ensure the highest standards of patient care
Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and other staff to coordinate patient care
Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards (e.g., OSHA, Joint Commission)
Maintain and update policies and procedures as needed
Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and equipment
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to best practices
Handle patient concerns or issues and work to ensure a positive patient experience
Qualifications:
Current RN license in SC
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Minimum 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership or management role
Experience in ophthalmology, interventional pain, or similar surgical settings preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Knowledge of regulatory requirements in ambulatory surgical settings
