A healthcare organization in New Hartford is seeking a Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Radiologist to join a collaborative medical team that provides medical team providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services. Position Overview
The Radiologist will interpret a wide range of diagnostic imaging studies and collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to assist in the diagnosis and management of patient conditions. The position may include a combination of diagnostic radiology responsibilities with opportunities to participate in procedural or subspecialty imaging, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret diagnostic imaging studies, including X-rays, CT scans, MRI, ultrasound, and other imaging modalities
- Provide timely and accurate diagnostic reports to referring physicians
- Consult with physicians regarding imaging findings and patient care recommendations
- Perform image-guided procedures when appropriate
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and imaging protocols
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
- Collaborate with technologists, physicians, and clinical staff to ensure quality patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental meetings

Requirements
General Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology
- Completion of an accredited residency program in diagnostic radiology
- Eligible for or able to obtain a New York medical license
- Strong diagnostic and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in diagnostic radiology practice
- Fellowship training or interest in subspecialty areas such as interventional radiology, neuroradiology, or musculoskeletal imaging
