Position Overview

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient examinations and obtain detailed medical histories
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Order, interpret, and review diagnostic tests and laboratory results
• Prescribe medications and monitor patient progress
• Educate patients on disease prevention, health maintenance, and treatment options
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in electronic health records
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care
• Adhere to clinical guidelines, safety protocols, and regulatory standards

Requirements

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in an appropriate specialty
• Active Michigan medical license or ability to obtain licensure
• Completion of an accredited residency program
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Preferred Experience

• Clinical experience in primary care, internal medicine, or family medicine preferred
• Experience with electronic medical records systems
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based care environment
