Commonwealth Medical Services is seeking a skilled and compassionate Rheumatologist to join our specialty care team in Lima, Ohio. Commonwealth Medical Services is seeking a skilled and compassionate Rheumatologist to join our specialty care team in Lima, Ohio. This position offers the opportunity to diagnose and manage a broad range of autoimmune and musculoskeletal disorders while working collaboratively with primary care physicians and specialty providers. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing comprehensive, evidence-based care that improves patients' quality of life through early diagnosis, treatment, and long-term disease management.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with rheumatologic and autoimmune disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing current evidence-based guidelines.
- Monitor patients receiving immunomodulatory and biologic therapies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare providers to coordinate patient care.
- Educate patients regarding disease processes, medications, and treatment expectations.
- Maintain complete and accurate medical documentation.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education.
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Fellowship training in Rheumatology.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology.
- Eligible for unrestricted Ohio medical licensure.
- Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
